Okay, I know that my blog is ALL about crowdfunding, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good fit for you.
I’m going to be quite honest, crowdfunding is not always the best way to raise money for a project, cause, or startup. If you want the real reason, I’ll link to the first free chapter of my guide, the Crowdfunding Fast Track.
Rather than bore you with more text, I made a YouTube video to address this very topic! You can watch it below.
Remember, almost every creative type or entrepreneur that’s come on my podcast has said that “Crowdfunding is a full time job.”
You better believe it! On average, Kickstarter campaign creators spend about 20 hours per week on their project, if not more.
I’m not gonna lie. That’s a big commitment. I’m in my mid twenties and I’m still afraid of commitment (haha).
That’s why I recommend listening to some of the free podcast episodes that I’ve put out, like how one team raised $1.3 million for World Famous Spinning Tops or another raised over $1 million for a heated jacket. You can listen on iTunes or on this blog.
This way, you’ll be able to dip your toes in the water and get a feel for what it’s actually like to run a crowdfunding campaign and raise money from the crowd.
After you watch the YouTube video above, take a second to leave me a comment and subscribe to my new YouTube channel for more content about crowdfunding!
