While most of the extremely successful campaigns we hear about in the media these days are hosted on Kickstarter, Indiegogo is catching up in terms of campaigns that raise large amounts in a small amount of time.
The campaigns featured in this list have already raised a combined total of over $213K in less than a week since they all launched. This week highlights three technology campaigns, a film, and a design project.
1. RTX: The Pro’s Secret to staying COOL

After just two days on Indiegogo this project raised 107% of its $25K flexible funding goal for their new RTX (Rapid Thermal Exchange) device that helps keep you cool so you can do more. RTX technology is becoming popular in many different areas including sports, television, movies, and also industrial uses.
All you have to do is load the machine with ice and water, insert your hand into the vacuum chamber, flip the switch, and start to cool down within seconds! Backers can pledge $249 for the RTX Consumer Model, along with several other great rewards being offered during this campaign.
2. Alejandro Jodorowsky – Endless Poetry

Endless Poetry is 86-year-old cult filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky’s most recent feature-film, exploring his life as a young adult in the 1940s and 50s in the capital city of Santiago.
According to the Indiegogo page, “There, he decides to become a poet and is introduced, by destiny, into the foremost bohemian and artistic circle of the time.”
In the five days since this campaign launched it has attracted over 800 backers that are excited to see this film made. Backers can pledge $50 for a digital download of the film with a poster, and more!
3. Greycork – Upgrade Your Living Room

Number of Backers: 97+

4. RXACTIVE: The World’s First Resistance Activewear

RXACTIVE is described as, “Revolutionary fitness wear with built-in resistance that helps you get more out of your workouts,” and judging by their early success this is something that backers are very interested in.
This campaign raised over $32K on their first day from nearly 200 backers! This fitness wear is designed with elastic panels that add resistance to every step, they’re moisture wicking, machine washable, and more!

5. Touchjet WAVE: Turn Your TV into a Touchscreen

Number of Backers: 365+
Touchjet WAVE is a new, affordable way to turn your TV into a giant tablet, allowing you to use the apps you love from your TV screen.
Since you can now install any app on your TV the options are endless – you can play games, stream movies, browse the web, and much more. This system is available for the Indiegogo price of $119, with early bird prices offered to a limited number of backers.
