We do our best to catalogue some of the major campaigns blowing up in the crowdfunding industry.

Today, I’d like to get into some of the most funded Indiegogo projects in Feb of 2019.

You should use these fundraisers as inspiration as you’re going out there and putting together your own project.

Key Takeaways

Looking through these Indiegogo campaigns, it astounds me the level of creativity of some of these entrepreneurs. They are able to bring a completely new product to market.

While Indiegogo is a bit smaller than Kickstarter in terms of funding size, they still have strong six and seven figure projects that are launching all of the time.

These are some of my simple takeaways:

  • You can use Indiegogo to raise money for platforms, hardware products, senior care, and technology gadgets.
  • You don’t need a lot of backers to raise big bucks. theBoardlist raised six figures from 91 backers.
  • Always set a lower goal than the amount you’d like to raise, if you’re doing a fixed funding campaign.

If you’re looking to get started with your own project, a good place to start is hopping onto KickstarterForum. There, you can ask questions and learn more about crowdfunding.

In addition, you can reach out to me if you’d like me to take a look at your project idea.
