June has been a fantastic month for Kickstarter projects, with a lot of successful campaigns in different categories.
Many of the projects being featured this month are part of a new initiative announced on June 20, called Kickstarter Gold. From now until July 31, more than 65 iconic Kickstarter creators will be launching new spins to old projects.
Since these creators have already run successful projects and have previously satisfied backers many of them have reached their funding goals in a matter of hours or a couple of days.
The categories featured in this list include Tabletop Games, Comedy, Product Design, and several Technology projects.

Dwarven Forge was founded in 1996 and has had amazing success on Kickstarter over the last couple of years. This campaign raised over $1 million in just four days for their hand painted Dungeons & Dragons terrain.
After four previous successful campaigns, Dungeon of Doom is another hit for Dwarven Forge and they still have weeks left to go. Backers can get various modular pieces on Kickstarter with the option of regular Dungeon Gray or pieces that are already artfully hand painted.

Cubetto is a fun toy that teaches programming to children aged 3 and up, without the use of screens. Primo Toys is returning with new programming adventures for Kickstarter Gold, and the campaign was fully funded in less than twelve hours.
This unique programming toy is Montessori-approved and can teach kids basic coding even before they learn how to read. Using the interface board kids can program Cubetto, a little smiling wooden box, to move around on different maps.
Cubetto is available on Kickstarter starting at $195 for Early Bird backers.
5. Kickstarter Gold: Science Abridged

As part of a 2015 Kickstarter campaign, Zachary Weiner and his team created an abridged version of the Bible, which summarized each chapter in about a few sentences. They were surprised to find that this bonus book became the most popular one that they had published.
Now they are back for Kickstarter Gold. This time the team is doing the same for science, condensing every major field of science into a small section, covering things like history, major insights, and more.

Oru Kayak is returning to Kickstarter with their third campaign as part of Kickstarter Gold. For this project, they are offering backers an updated version of their original kayak, the Bay ST, with a green tree print.
This is a great kayak that is perfect for both beginner and expert kayakers, seeing as it is both stable and capable of going fast for those who are more experienced. As an added bonus, Oru Kayak is part of 1% For The Planet, meaning that 1% of their annual salary or net worth goes towards supporting environmental issues.
Backers can get their own Bay ST Kayak for $1,500 on Kickstarter.

A lot of really cool Kickstarter campaigns launched this month, especially since the beginning of Kickstarter Gold on June 20. Together, the campaigns featured in this round-up have raised roughly $2.8 million and they still have weeks left to go! Pretty impressive!
