Spring is almost here, and a handful of successful Indiegogo campaigns have launched and are now in full swing. It looks like it’s going to be an exciting month for the platform. Several cool and innovative campaigns have launched in the beginning of the month and raised a combined total of over $565,000 with weeks left to go!
This post features six popular design, technology, and community campaigns that show how Indiegogo’s recent work to help promote the continued success of campaigns on their platform (think InDemand and their partnership with Brookstone) is working. Indiegogo has done a great job marketing themselves as a platform that focuses not just on the crowdfunding process, but also on creators’ growth after their campaigns have ended.
Their personal fundraising platform Generosity and focus on community-based campaigns also positions them as an alternative to their competitor, Kickstarter, which does not support these types of projects.
Take a look at these six super successful Indiegogo campaigns to get a glimpse of what’s new and exciting on the platform. Don’t f0rget to leave a comment when you’re done and tell us which project is your favorite! Mine is #4!

This lounger is extremely portable and durable, making it perfect in all types of terrain. It can even be used in water. All you need is a couple scoops of air to get it inflated (no external pumps needed!) and you’re ready to go. Their reverse osmosis purifier requires no installation and gives you the purest water possible. WaterO’s smartphone app helps you keep track of how pure your water is, when your filter needs to be replaced, how much plastic you’ve avoided using, and reminds you when to drink water so you stay optimally hydrated!
