CrowdCrux Partner Program

Overview

I’m testing out a CrowdCrux partner program. For the alpha testing, I’m interested in working with two members of the crowdfunding community. I think this could be a good opportunity for consultants, platforms, and service providers. All of the details can be found below. To apply, please email me at sbriggman@crowdcrux.com with “partner” in the subject line.

How it works

Benefits:

I will list you on the featured section of the crowdfunding directory (top of the list) for two weeks. During the first week, you will be at the #1 position at the top of the directory list. During the second week you will be listed at the #2 position in the crowdfunding directory list.

In exchange:

I would like you to comment on one CrowdCrux.com article each business day during the two weeks (10 comments over the course of 2 weeks). The article can’t have any comments already. Feel free to comment with your thoughts, disagreements, insights, or additions to the main points.

Here is an example of a CrowdCrux.com article with comments: https://www.crowdcrux.com/kickstarter-social-media-marketing-tips-from-guy-kawasaki/

Why would you want to comment?

1. My readers will see your comments and be introduced to your company (and may research your service).

2. Show that you are an authority in the space of crowdfunding with valuable insights.

3. Begin a discussion that you can be a part of. I’ve noticed that readers tend to comment on articles when they already have comments. Someone may respond to your comment and you can meet someone you didn’t know before!

Stats

Last week, the crowdfunding directory received 584 pageviews (almost all coming from CrowdCrux blog) and there were 170 clicks on company links. If you are at the top of the list, you have a better chance of being seen by new customers.

Considering that it takes 5 minutes to read an article and 5 minutes to comment, it’s a pretty low time investment for some additional traffic.

Conclusion

Like I said, I’m testing this idea out and specifically keeping it to 2 partners for a limited duration. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on the program.
