When the lows are low and you start running out of funding, how do you make it through?
Today’s guest has been through it all.
His first Indiegogo campaign didn’t go as planned and at some point, he was left with only $200 in his bank account.
So, he had to make a decision whether he was going back to medical school or keep trying to get the business off the ground.
And yet, he kept treading, went back, launched a whole new campaign, and, lo and behold, has just raised $2,229,648 on StartEngine for his life-changing product, a bionic hand by PSYONIC.
Since then, pretty much everything has been going upwards.
Wondering what he did differently the second time around?
One of the things that really boosted his campaign was social media.
In fact, half of his sales came from social media and even from places like WhatsApp.
In this episode of the Crowdfunding Demystified podcast, Salvador Briggman and entrepreneur Dr. Aadeel Akhtar dive into all the factors that contributed to a $2.2 million equity crowdfunding campaign.
You’ll find out how to showcase the functionality of your products in creative new ways, how to make your content go viral on social media, and build an epic brand that people genuinely love.
It was all these little pieces coming together that made this campaign a success.
But it is also because of the grit to make it through in tough situations.
If you have the grit to survive and thrive in tough situations, you’re already halfway through.
For the rest, we’ve got you covered!
Hopefully, you’ll find the story as fun, enlightening, and inspirational as we did!
