Do you want to successfully raise money on Kickstarter or Indiegogo?
Well, that’s kind of a dumb question. Who doesn’t!?
Quite frankly, by the behavior of some of the crowdfunders out there, you’d think that they actually DON’T want to succeed.
I wanna make sure that you are armed with the best information possible going into your Kickstarter campaign.
I’m going to be sharing a video with you that goes through several tips that I have for Kickstarter success.
No matter what category you’re launching under, these will help you raise more money with crowdfunding.
You can watch the video below!
What Kickstarter category are you launching under?
Did you know that the categories on Kickstarter differ wildly?
For example… the Technology category has a 19.87% success rate, whereas the Music category has a 49.45% success rate.
Depending on which category you launch in, you’re going to need a unique strategy for your crowdfunding campaign. You’re going to focus your time, energy, and budget differently.
One of my goals here with this blog and my YouTube channel is to demystify the world of online funding for you.
I want to make it super simple for you to see exactly what you need to do if you want to raise funds on Kickstarter. That’s why I’ve revealed so much in this video.
These tips can apply to many of the categories out there, including the one that you’re launching under.
I can’t do it for you, but if YOU implement some of the suggestions that I make, you’re more likely to see success with crowdfunding.
Kickstarter is Extremely Powerful…
There are many reasons why someone might decide to launch a Kickstarter campaign. It’s hard to nail down every person’s motivation.
On the flip side, it’s quite easy to see the enormous benefits that crowdfunders get out of running one of these fundraising campaigns.
Kickstarter is extremely powerful because it:
- Gives you instant access to a community of early adopters
- Builds “social proof” and virality around your business
- Arms you with the tools you need to share YOUR story
- Lends you credibility in the eyes of retailers, partners, and the media
- Helps you get your prototype in the hands of everyone.
- Of course, gets you funding!
I could go through an entire list of benefits that come from running a successful crowdfunding campaign. You’ve probably heard most of them mentioned online.
One that hasn’t been mentioned a lot is the “psychological benefits” of a fundraising campaign. This type of project FORCES you to get serious.
You literally get a crash course in business, marketing, sales, and customer support.
Don’t Make This Mistake…
I’m no different from anyone else when it comes to learning. I absolutely HATED school.
I found it difficult to pay attention, retain the information, and of course, I didn’t like the pressure of the exams.
Oddly enough, I LOVE learning from books, online courses, blogs, and podcasts.
Do you know why? Because it’s practical!
I know that one little nugget or tip can lead to thousands of dollars in sales.
I am not over exaggerating that.
Preparation is a MUST for every crowdfunding campaign. You gotta spend some time learning why Kickstarter works so well and what goes into an effective campaign.
I know it takes time. It also takes money if you invest in my premium training.
However, you will more than earn back the time or money you invested learning the foundation of crowdfunding.
These skills are applicable to your business even after your Kickstarter campaign has concluded.
You’re still going to need to know how to:
- Drive traffic
- Convert visitors into buyers
- Tell a compelling story
- Get media attention
- Fulfill customer orders
You can use EVERYTHING that I’m going to be sharing with you in your own business. This is your own personal MBA, only a thousand times better.
A real MBA can “simulate” the real world. This is 100% real.
You’ll be connecting with REAL customers. You’ll be generating REAL sales.
