Rita Tapia asked a great question on the Crowdfunding Demystified podcast! She recently launched a crowdfunding campaign and is wondering how she can get more funding and backers for her creative project.
“Hi Salvador. I’ve recently launched a Kickstarter campaign, but most probably it won’t likely be successful because it revolves around a project that makes people challenge their convictions. Would I have better chance of reaching my goal by channeling my PR effort into pestering people who make a living out of voicing their own opinions or by adjusting their opinions to that of the majority?”
I’ll share my thoughts on this issue, along with how anyone else out there can get funding for a creative project. This might not be the answer that you want to hear, but I’m speaking just from my own experience. You’ll have to tune into the episode to see what I’m referring to!
