On today’s episode of the podcast, Alif Sajan submitted a question, asking how Kickstarter’s ranking algorithm works.
He asked: “Does Kickstarter’s ranking system only take affect during the beginning of a campaign? If my campaign got a bunch of pledges at once, would it be noticed by Kickstarter? It’s pretty clear that the featured projects get a big boost in pledges.”
I’m going to share some tips that I have regarding Kickstarter’s algorithm, along with my thoughts on how to get more backers for his crowdfunding campaign. Honestly, I think that most people go about marketing the complete wrong way.
You don’t want to make some of the mistakes that I’m about to mention. You’ll end up wasting a lot of time and a lot of money.
