This is another “Ask Sal” episode of the podcast where you submit your questions and I answer them! Today, I answered a question from Matthew King who is a Senior Artist with Mindpipe. He asked:
“We have a Kickstarter running at the moment and we’re having trouble getting people to trust our company, even though we have amazing rewards. Do you have any tips?”
I think that this is one of my better Ask Sal podcast episodes. I share a lot of key advice for creating trust online, getting people to pay attention to your product, and ways to encourage backers and customers to take action.
There is a lot of psychology that goes into marketing and I really hope some of these techniques that I share aren’t used for nefarious purposes. Remember, you should first have a great product. Then, it’s time to market it.
