How to Get a List of Kickstarter Backers and Superbackers

Do you want to gain access to a list of backers and super backers?

Then listen up!

We all know that it’s easier to sell a product to a customer if that customer has already bought something similar.

They’ve self-identified as someone who experiences the problem the product solves. They also have shown they are willing to spend money to address the problem.

With today’s YouTube video, I want to explore a few different ways you can get access to a list of backers and super backers.

What did you think of this YouTube video?

Did you enjoy it and find it to be helpful?

Why promote your campaign?

You gotta market and promote your crowdfunding campaign. If you don’t, it’s not going to get traffic, and thus pledges on Kickstarter.

With my video today, I shared with you a few resources you can tap into when trying to get access to Kickstarter super backers.

But, it’s also important to say that there is no magical bullet. A good launch will have multiple strategies that cause the actual project to take off.

On my blog and my YouTube channel, we cover many ways to go about this process. You can use tons of ways to get the word out. The question is, which is most effective for you?

How do you stand out above the pack?

There are so many new crowdfunding projects that are launched every single day. How do you stand out among all of that competition?

First of all, it’s going to depend on your unique project, niche, and category. Not every business is different. There is no real blanket advice.

You might have access to more resources than someone else, or you might be willing to work harder than someone else. It’s gonna depend on you.

I think the only surefire way to stand out that I’ve come across is to assemble a rockstar team of people who are invested in your success.

We see it time and time again. Great products have great teams of people working around them.

What else can you do to succeed?

You are basically trying to accomplish something that you see other people doing.

Every day, we see new projects successfully funded on Kickstarter. You’re now trying to be one of those.

Since this subject wasn’t really taught in school, you’re going to need to tap into people (like myself) who have experience with this fundraising process.

You can invest time in educating yourself with things like my podcast, my books, my YouTube channel, and this blog. You can also book a one-on-one coaching call with me to access me directly.

I share a TON of free education out there to help to try to demystify Kickstarter. At the same, you can only learn so much from reading and watching videos.

Do you know what I mean?

At some point, you gotta take some action!

Taking lots of action is the absolute best thing you can do to ensure your success with crowdfunding.

Push Your Comfort Zone

Every single guest that I’ve had on my podcast has had to push outside of their comfort zone in order to see success on Kickstarter.

They’ve been made to stretch their abilities, do things that make them feel anxious, and ultimately push past difficult emotions to get what they want.

You owe it to your backers to do the same. You want this project to exist in the real world. No one can make this happen but you.

I hope you take this as an invitation to get started (if you haven’t already) and begin to invest time, energy, and resources into your project.

Down below, you’ll find a link to my newsletter where I share tips on how to do better with crowdfunding. I hope you find some of these free tips to be helpful going forward!
