New Indiegogo Campaign Provides Vegan Street Food Using Solar Panels

Have you ever wanted to impact the world?

How about make our planet more sustainable?

A new Indiegogo campaign has launched and is already garnering pledges for a NEW initiative to provide vegan street food using solar panels as a source of energy.

Basically, the equipment that cooks healthy Vegan street food will be powered by efficient solar panels, which will:

  • Help reduce greenhouse gases
  • Cut down on animal killings
  • Promote green and sustainable living

With tasty food an energy-efficient means of production, this project has the capability to convince non-vegans to reduce their consumption of meat and learn more about vegetarian and vegan culture.

Why will this work?

Unlike other causes that have tried to promote Vegan living, this project is headed up by Remus Cernea, an entrepreneur and civil society activist who has won numerous awards for human rights and environmental causes.

He has created a four-prong approach that will address this growing issue and help to create a sustainable solution.

“There are many companies which are Green, but not Vegan and vice versa,” says Cernea. “But we have to accelerate the transition to a far more and sustainable Green economy. We must reduce, as fast as possible, the consumption of meat and dairy which are responsible for a big part of the greenhouse emissions.”

While a Green company will help to reduce our carbon footprint, it does not alleviate the core cause of greenhouse gas emissions. Eating and perpetuation the consumption of meat is not only unhealthy, but it also leads to an unhealthy earth atmosphere.

“We will provide tasty and healthy Vegan street food in some touristic areas from Romania at the beginning,” says Cernea. “We’ll get the necessary energy from solar panels, so there will be 0 emissions. If the things will go well and there will be a support from donors and investors we will want to extend in other EU countries as soon as possible.”

Not only does Vegan living cut down on green house gasses, but it also aims at solving an ongoing animal rights issue. As a by product of capitalism’s march on the world, our animal population has been genetically engineered, herded, and ultimately decreased.

What will “The Generous Vegan”do for you?

This new Indiegogo campaign will offer 20% of all donations to cover the prices for the meals, which will then be offered free to non-Vegans.

This is a strategic initiative to get them to eat tasty Vegan food, with the possibility of them becoming vegan or vegetarian in the future.

In addition, the funds will be used to set up a system where Vegan food can be served to the public through the power of solar panels. The funds will cover the costs of the needed equipment.

Along with tracking the expenditures, the team behind the project will also compile an online report which shows how the money was allocated.

By supporting this project, you’ll be forwarding the mission to bring more healthy eating to the general public, stimulate the growth of solar energy, and ensure that more individual embrace the Vegan lifestyle.

“I’m also very proud an happy to announce that my sister, Magda Cernea, who is PhD in medical science and former national champion at chess Under 18 for two times have decided to join to this project,” says Cernea. “Together with other friends and volunteers we’ll build a very good team!”

The need for energy efficiency

It all begins with action. Our diet, our habits, the people in our lives. We all have the ability to directly impact another person in our lives.

This project is an important step towards an involved, energy-efficient community that has made the switch from fossil fuel to solar energy AND from eating animals to a more humane and environmentally friendly diet.
